Thomas Hand received an incredible message that his little daughter Emily, who was thought to be dead, was alive and freed from captivity.
She spent 50 long days there and was released on Saturday November 25th. reports CNN. After the death of his wife, Thomas Hand raised his daughter alone. He was told that Emily was killed in a Hamas attack on October 7, but she was among the Israeli hostages released on Saturday evening.
Thomas came to the border of Israel and Egypt to meet his daughter, taking with him her beloved dog. He told reporters that he was very upset about the death of his daughter when he was told that Emily had died. But a few weeks later, Israeli officials said they were unsure of the child’s death – her body was not found, nor were there any traces of blood in the house where she was staying.
Recall that the exchange of Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners continues. The truce is intended to last four days. During this time, 50 Israeli hostages and 150 Palestinian prisoners should be released.
