The Paris-Izmir flight was first delayed for three hours and then took off, leaving 30 passengers and the pilot behind.
The incident occurred at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport on Saturday November 18th. Airplane SunExpress Boeing 737-8MA, as reports Turkish portal Airporthaber, flew to Turkish Izmir 3 hours late.
Passengers eagerly awaiting boarding at the airport did not receive information about check-in. After checking the flight status data in the mobile application, they were surprised to find that their plane… was already in the air. Attempts to contact carrier representatives were unsuccessful. Another airline pilot remained on the ground.
The aircraft landed safely in Izmir, and SunExpress reported that the remaining passengers in Paris were accommodated in a hotel and will be sent to their destination on the next flight.
