Police carried out preventive raids in three areas of Attica: Maroussi, Heraklion and Nea Ionia. Their goal was to prevent the occurrence of delinquent behavior of minors and analyze their movements in these territories.
According to the Greek police (ELAS), it was decided to carry out the appropriate operational activities after collecting, investigating and assessing data indicating repeated offending by minors in certain parts of these territories.
The raids focused on a shopping center and two ΗΣΑΠ electric railway stations. A total of 40 people were tested in this way. The police departments of North-East Attica, assisted by DIAS teams, took part in the operational activities. ELAS management stated that similar actions will be continued in the area of prevention and control youth crime.
