IDF: "Today we will reveal it to the world" (video)

The IDF has released video evidence of Hamas militants storing weapons at a children’s hospital and possibly holding hostages there.

The Times of Israel publishes video and quotes IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari: “Today we will reveal it to the world.” The Israeli military has presented evidence that the basement of a Gaza City hospital was used by Hamas to hide weapons and possibly hold hostages that were kidnapped on October 7.

Khagari showed video evidence of weapons storage underneath Gaza’s Rantisi Children’s Hospital and rooms allegedly used to hold hostages. One of them contains a calendar of the changing of the guard, starting on October 7, when Hamas sent thousands of terrorists into Israel.

In the next room, a chair is shown with a woman’s robe and a rope near one of the legs, which Hagari says is evidence of the use of restraints. The chair is located under equipment donated by WHO, with a baby bottle on top and diapers on the floor. Khagary accused international organizations funding hospitals of promoting terror.

There is also a motorcycle used to transport hostages to Gaza, and the premises look like makeshift bathrooms and a kitchen with ventilation pipes. Israel continues to investigate whether hostages were actually held there and forensic teams were sent there on Monday, Hagari said.

The weapons found in the hospital basement included suicide vests, explosive devices, grenades, AK-47s, RPGs and other weapons. An IDF spokesman described the area as a Hamas command and control center.

Israel has long accused Hamas of using hospitals to hide military infrastructure. The group uses patients as human shields, forcing Israel to scale back its offensive or risk more civilian casualties.

International law gives hospitals special protection in times of war. But according to the International Committee of the Red Cross, hospitals could lose these protections if combatants use them to shelter fighters or store weapons.

As of last Friday, more than 11,000 Palestinians, two-thirds of them women and minors, had been killed since the war began, according to Gaza’s Hamas-run Health Ministry, which makes no distinction between civilians and militants.
