In Thessaloniki, a 15-year-old teenager was detained who, at knifepoint, wanted to rob a minimarket. However, he was stopped by the husband of the owner of the outlet.
The teenager was unable to escape with the stolen goods because the business owner’s husband intervened, causing the teenager to throw away the money and the stolen goods before disappearing from sight.
However, the teenager was identified as the perpetrator of an attempted robbery that took place in March last year at a store in Evosmos in Thessaloniki. According to the police, the minor, hiding his face and holding a knife, raked out 40 euros from the cash register drawer. However, before he could escape with his “loot,” the business owner’s husband intervened, causing him to flee the scene.
During the preliminary investigation, information about the minor was established, and a criminal case was opened against him.
