On Sunday, October 29, hundreds of people stormed the Makhachkala airport and then the runway as a flight from Tel Aviv arrived. A crowd surrounded the plane, trying to board it in search of Jews.
People gathered in response to calls on telegram channels to gather near the airport and check cars located on its territory and leaving there, in search of Jews. First, protesters checked passports and then, a few hours later, stormed the airport building, shouting anti-Semitic slogans.
The Telegram channel “Caution, News” writes that those gathered entered each room, while airport employees tried to hide in office offices.
