On the night of October 24, messages about explosions in Sevastopol appeared on social networks. “Governor” of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev reported:
“Loud sounds are in the outer roadstead, the Black Sea Fleet is repelling a possible attack by underwater sabotage forces and enemy assets.”
Telegram channel “Crimean Wind” wrote about loud explosions at 3:35 and 3:40 and about the sounds of shooting in Sevastopol: “Allegedly, the Russian Air Defense Forces in Sevastopol are trying to shoot down a drone.”
Russian Ministry of Defense declaresthat in the morning in the northern part of the Black Sea his fleet defended itself from three Ukrainian unmanned boats:
“On October 24, at about 4 o’clock in the northern part of the Black Sea, technical surveillance equipment detected three unmanned boats of the Ukrainian Navy. The area in which the unmanned boats were detected was hit by anti-sabotage missile and bomb systems.”
As the Russian Ministry of Defense reported at 08:18, “a set of mine and anti-sabotage measures is being carried out on the outer roadstead of Sevastopol Bay.” There have been no comments from the Ukrainian side yet.
At 7:50 a.m., the sounds of two launches were heard, which Razvozhaev had previously explained as “depth bombing exercises,” writes publication “Crimea. Realities”. It is also reported that shooting can be heard in several areas of the city.
