Israel came under attack on two fronts on Monday (16/10) when Hamas launched a barrage of rockets, causing riots in the capital Jerusalem, while Hezbollah announced it had struck five Israeli army positions in northern Israel.
During the Hamas attack, a military council was being held in the Knesset (Israeli parliament), which was interrupted and participants evacuated from the hall to seek shelter.
In fact, the interruption came shortly after a speech by Benjamin Netanyahu, who warned Hezbollah against “testing our will.”
