Greek from Israel: "Hamas burning people in their homes is an atrocity"

According to him, “this thing has gone beyond the scope of war and turned into atrocity.” It is obvious that Hamas is determined to commit the most terrible and inhumane crimes because it wants to inflict psychological trauma on Israeli society, such that it will last for many decades.

“It all started on Saturday morning, like a normal military Saturday, that is, only missiles were flying in. We entered the bunker with my small children, 8 and 10 years old respectively. And since we live close to the attack site, very soon the sounds we usually hear in the area changed. Suddenly we heard the sounds of automatic weapons. Then I realized that something different was happening, not an ordinary attack. The footage we see now is from places I passed every day with my kids to go somewhere. This is my area. The maximum distance to us is 1 kilometer. It was scary because you have two children in the shelter. We communicate with each other in this area, so you know it’s in a neighboring settlement, they came and killed and burned hundreds of people. They burned people in their houses. It went beyond war and became atrocity.” – he said at the beginning.

M. LevAnd emphasized: “MYou didn’t leave there directly because you couldn’t. Our military routine, if you like, is this: when we hear the alarm, we go to the bunker, the father tries to understand – this something will last several hours or days. And if we understand that this is something more serious, We pack our bags, the airport, Greece, grandparents – for the children the war ends and the holidays begin.”

M. Levy then described the horror experienced by those around him: “In the afternoon they burned the woman who is keeping my children in her house. My mother-in-law’s house became unrecognizable because there were 5-6 Hamas people on the street who used automatic weapons to make it uninhabitable. She was spared because they did not open the door to the shelter.”

“They took children from their homes and their parents, and took them to Gaza. In another settlement they beheaded children, in another they killed 100 people. I can’t forget them, at first I try, but I can’t sleep. It’s hard, still very fresh”he concluded.
