Who is to blame for the death of 53 citizens in the Ukrainian village of Groza – established "gunners"

The Security Service of Ukraine has identified the gunners of the Russian Iskander in the village of Groza in the Kharkov region, where on October 5 a missile attack killed 53 people, including a child.

The SBU “hot on its heels” solved the bloody crime. The attackers turned out to be 30-year-old Vladimir Mamon and his younger brother 23-year-old Dmitry Mamon, natives of the village of Chkalovskoye. Until July 2022, both served in the local police, and during the occupation of the village they agreed to cooperate with the Russians.

On the eve of the liberation of the region, the brothers fled to the Russian Federation and remotely tried to influence events in Ukraine by forming their own network of informants. Communicating with former neighbors, relatives and acquaintances from the deoccupied areas of the Kharkov region, they “secretly” used them to obtain the necessary information.

Having learned about the planned reburial of a deceased Ukrainian soldier in the village of Groza, they, through “harmless” conversations, found out the exact address and time of the peaceful event.

Vladimir Mamon passed this data on to the Russians. They used the information to carry out a targeted strike on a Ukrainian village using the Iskander M operational-tactical missile system, the SBU reported. The department’s statement says:

“As a result of a Russian missile attack, 53 civilians were killed, among them a young child. Based on the evidence collected, Security Service investigators charged both defendants with suspicion under Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. In addition, criminal actions Vladimir Mamon were additionally qualified under Part 5 of Article 27, Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 438.”

Their whereabouts are currently being established.

Today, a 53-year-old woman died in hospital, injured as a result of a missile attack on the village of Groza in the Kharkov region on October 5, thus the number of victims of the Russian attack increased up to 56.
