An alligator about four meters long was noticed by passerby Jamarcus Bullard in the US state of Florida, with human remains sticking out of its mouth.
How reports Sky News, it happened on September 22 – the reptile was in the Largo Canal, 32 km from the city of Tampa. To make sure it was really an alligator, Bullard threw a rock at it. And at that moment I saw that the animal was going under the water with the lower part of the human body in its teeth.
Bullard reported the terrible incident to local authorities. Police, with the help of representatives of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, caught and killed the predator.
During the investigation of the incident, human remains were found. According to preliminary data, this is 41-year-old Sabrina Peckham. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation while authorities have not released details.
