The Italian public television program Rai, dedicated to missing persons, has made a stunning discovery: 55-year-old Italian Antamo Guerra has been found, who disappeared ten years ago, leaving a letter to his parents saying that he was going to commit suicide.

Guerra was married with two young children and grew up in the northern Italian city of Imola. Over the years, his wife continued to search for him, and prosecutors determined that he abandoned his car in Ancona, where he bought a ferry ticket to Greece.
Now, eight years after the case was closed, an envoy from the Italian public television program Rai has found the man alive and well in Patras, where he appears to reside permanently.
The fifty-five-year-old man even tried to ask the television company to “forget about him” and not broadcast the news. The wife of the “alleged suicide”, having seen the video recording, recognized him and, despite her surprise and grief, thanked the people responsible for investigating the broadcast. “He is not a man, he is not a father,” she commented.
