Weather: rain and lower temperatures

According to the forecast of the channel’s meteorologist Open Clearhos Marousakis, a cold front is moving from Central Europe to Greece – rain and lower temperatures are expected.

However, today, September 19, the day begins with quite good weather, which will change in the evening. The main feature of the weather forecast for today will be the north wind in the Aegean Sea (at least until late evening). In the north and northwestern part of the country there will be showers or local storms in the afternoon.

“Starting next week the weather will be more like autumn. A cold front is approaching from Central Europe, which will bring rain and air temperatures will drop to a level more appropriate for the season,” said Clearchos Marousakis.

In general, vacationers will still have time to “grab a piece of summer”, since it is sunny (+30-34°C) and the sea water is warm. And official “weather forecasters” do not scare residents and guests of our country with any special abnormal weather phenomena: air temperature, precipitation, gusts of wind and humidity will be relatively normal.
