Resumption of real estate auctions in September


After the summer “holidays” auctions for the sale of real estate objects for debts are resumed.

Only last week published 1266 messages. September and October are the months when large objects – buildings, hotels – will be sold at auctions. One of the highlights is the Alki David facility in Spetses, with a starting price of 7.44 million euros. The auction is scheduled for September 27th. The luxurious villa Alki David, owned by a famous family, is put up for auction and is located on three plots of land with a total area of ​​4444 sq.m.

Another standout piece of real estate is the property of Prodromos Emfitsoglu, leader of the Mechaniki construction group, which has crumbled like a deck of cards, leaving millions in debt over the previous decade. In particular, on November 8, the residence-museum located in Anavrita Amarousiou will go under the hammer. The starting price is 6,792,000 euros.

The luxurious mansion, consisting of nine building complexes, is located on a 60-acre plot on a hill in Marousi, next to Anavrita. It consists of cultural buildings with exhibition spaces, exhibitions of art and visual works, offices, a detached house-villa and ancillary buildings. In 2008, the building of a new art gallery with an area of ​​2000 square meters was also completed. It houses more than 700 works of art by Greek artists.

Businessman Kostas Piladakis, who manages the casino, alas, will also face electronic auctions. His property in Glyfada will go under the hammer. The auction is scheduled for January 17, 2024 and will be held by Piraeus Bank. The price of the first offer is set at 4.317 million euros.

A smaller “diamond” but equally “tidbit” is the property of Argyris Papargyropoulos, a businessman who in previous decades was the “king” of Athens nightlife. The auction is scheduled for October 25, 2023, the starting price of the property is 2,261,000 euros.

In addition, on September 6, two hotel complexes will go under the hammer. One of the objects is the 4-star Five Senses Hotel in Gouves, Hersonissos, Crete. The complex is located a few meters from the sea, in an area with significant tourist activity. The Five Senses Hotel complex on the Gouves peninsula in Heraklion will be sold by auction on September 20 by the bank “Παγκρήτια Τράπεζα”. The initial offer price is 5.89 million euros.

The second is the Chora Resort on Folegandros, which is essentially a 4-star hotel. Three acres of land is up for auction. A hotel complex “CHORA RESORT” with an area of ​​1266.98 sq.m. was erected on the site.
