A 15-year-old teenager yesterday, August 29, was seriously injured on Alonissos and was urgently transported to the hospital in Volos late at night.
The child fell into the sea from a height of about 4 meters and was injured from hitting the rocks, according to gegonotanews. At 22:30, the unfortunate teenager was taken to the port of Volos on a coast guard boat, and then immediately transported by EKAB ambulance to the hospital “Αχιλλοπούλειο”, where he was immediately attended to by the doctors on duty. The patient received a blood transfusion because his state of health caused serious concern among doctors.
The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. It turns out whether the boy jumped off the cliff himself or was pushed.
