At the station ΗΣΑΠ “Victoria” (“Βικτώρια”) on the morning of August 28, the movement of trains was stopped due to the fall of a passenger on the rails.
Trains temporarily run on the Omonia-Piraeus and Kifisia-Attika routes. The authorities are investigating the causes of the incident – could it have been a suicide, writes CNN Greece.
Just a week earlier our publication reportedthat the Athens metro stations Omonia and Panepistimio are closed – at the Panepistimio metro station (Πανεπιστήμιο), a man fell onto the rails.
