In Thessaloniki, in the Sfagia region, a brothel was illegally operating.

According to thestival, as part of the operational activities of the Department for Combating Organized Crime and Human Trafficking of the Thessaloniki Police Department, officers conducted targeted checks to identify potential victims.

During the checks in the Sfagia region, a brothel operating illegally, without a proper license, was discovered. At the same time, the 26-year-old manager of the “business” was arrested.

In addition, it was established that a 28-year-old Romanian woman lived in the house, who did not have a permit for this type of activity and medical certificates. According to her, she handed over all the income from illegal activities to a 61-year-old man, who then deducted the part of the fee due to her from the amount received and gave it back.

During the inspection of the premises of the enterprise a DVR with a server connected to the Internet was detected, who remotely monitored and recorded everything that happened on the premises of the brothel, including clients and employees. This violation falls under the law “on the protection of individuals from the processing (receiving and dissemination) of their personal data.”
