The wildest episode: a parishioner hit the priest because of "taautotites"

An incredible incident took place today near the church in Psachna on the island of Evia between a 45-year-old parishioner and a 66-year-old priest who has been serving in this church for 12 years.

According to ekklisiaonline.gr, a parishioner, a mother of two, asked the priest why he did not express his position in a sermon about the involvement of government agencies and the police in issuing citizens of the country “new devilish passports” (νέες ταυτότητες).

The priest calmly explained to her that the question was not spiritual and did not concern the Church, and suggested that she seek answers from more competent people.

Then the woman lost her temper, became angry, began to scream and scold the priest with such words as “traitor”, “corrupt”, etc. case, they did not receive new documents.

The 66-year-old clergyman advised the lady “not to believe everything she sees on the Internet, after which her rage only intensified. Her anger reached the point that a parishioner slapped the clergyman in the face, and in front of the parishioners.

Someone called the lady’s husband to the church, who came and humbled her. This incident ended.

It is noted that the incident occurred at a time when various conspiracy theories “about new identifiers, tracking chips and demonic hacking of the system” are “walking” in the community.

In fact, from “online sermons” about the world conspiracy and Facebook pages called “We say NO!” tavtotite “with 17 thousand subscribers and a footnote” “NO!” the seal of the Antichrist on our souls”, it came to organizing rallies throughout the country.

Some clergy who have a TikTok account have addressed admonitions to their flock.
