“Maybe I shouldn’t have said it, but I will. The “Wagnerites” began to strain us: “I want to go to the West. Allow us.” I say, why do you need to go to the West? “Well, go on an excursion to Warsaw, to Rzeszow.” I keep them in the center of Belarus, as agreed, I would not like to relocate them from there, because their mood is bad,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

Poland deploys troops to the border with Belarus

Poland is gathering forces on the border with Belarus after Alexander Lukashenko’s statements about the Wagnerites. Lukashenko said that Belarus is currently “holding” Russian Wagner mercenaries within its borders, in particular in the central part of Belarus. He said that Minsk was monitoring the situation with the notorious militants, but said that the mercenaries had expressed a desire to travel west to Warsaw and Rzeszow and asked him for permission to do so.

However, he insisted that they not go beyond the central part of Belarus, and this decision was met with a sense of relief: “I tell them: why do you need to go to the West? And they answer: well, we want to go on an excursion to Warsaw and Rzeszow.”

#BREAKING Poland has just started moving another 200 pieces of equipment to the Podlaskie Voivodeship near the border with Belarus.

Poland plans to expand to the east. The country is deploying American helicopters and two motorized rifle divisions to the border with Belarus. The maneuvers are explained by “a sudden threat from the Russian Federation.”

Poland creates a special unit to fight the Wagnerites after Lukashenka’s threats. The new military engineering battalion will be deployed near the Suwalki corridor, which is strategically important. The soldiers will be located near the borders of Belarus, Lithuania and Russian Kaliningrad.
