Six bathers have drowned in the last 24 hours


The number of drownings at sea increases during the summer months. Over the past day, six deaths of bathers have been recorded on the beaches of the country.

A similar incident took place yesterday afternoon in Thessaloniki in the seaside area of ​​Epanomi. A 79-year-old man was found unconscious. The elderly man was given first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. However, the man could not be brought back to life.

In Porto Rafti A 59-year-old woman was pulled unconscious from the sea in the area of ​​Agios Spyridon. An EKAB ambulance arrived at the scene, the woman was taken to a local medical center, where doctors pronounced her dead.
