Motorcycle-train collision in Volos

Having knocked down a protective barrier, a motorcyclist in Volos drove onto the railway tracks and collided with a passenger train.

There were 26 passengers on the train 11575 Volos-Larisa. Ambulances and police arrived at the scene. Due to the incident, flight delays and cancellations are possible, warns CNN Greece.

Earlier, our publication told how on March 31 ΟΑΣΘ bus in Thessaloniki collided with a motorcycle. Two people were injured in the traffic accident. The collision occurred at 5:30 am in the center of the northern capital, at the intersection of Egnatia and Venizelou streets. The driver and passenger of the two-wheeled vehicle were taken to the hospital.
