A 26-year-old drug dealer wounded one of the police officers during his arrest. The law enforcement officer was taken to the hospital for first aid.
As part of operational actions, early in the morning on Sunday, June 25, in the Acropolis area, a 26-year-old Pakistani man was arrested by the police of the DIAS group. The man has been charged with violating drug laws, assault, resisting police officers during arrest, and causing bodily harm.
According to Greek law enforcement, the patrol found the foreigner suspicious and moved in to check. Seeing the police, the young man ran away, but was stopped. However, during the arrest, he wounded one of the policemen, who was taken to the hospital for first aid.
During the search conducted at the offender, ten doses of heroin (9.7 grams), 4 nylon bags with 4.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 70 euros were found and confiscated. The detainee was taken to the prosecutor’s office in Athens.
