According to the police, the defendants, each time moving in groups with different composition, noticing the passing drivers of various vehicles, put up obstacles with the intention of immobilizing them. The methods of “stopping” varied from case to case: either they drove in front of vehicles and blocked their movement, or they set up roadblocks (using various objects such as carts, bicycles, cars, etc.), or they simply … threw stones .

After performing the act of stopping the car, some of the members gained access to the interior of the vehicles either by opening the doors or through the open windows and grabbing bags, wallets, money and personal belongings from the seats. At the same time, juvenile bandits did not hesitate to take jewelry and wallets from the victims by force.

Threats and violence
In cases where the victims tried to resist, juvenile offenders used especially brutal violence to achieve their goal or pulled out knives, threatening to use them. In some cases, this has resulted in injuries to the victims.

Another characteristic feature of their actions is that when the drivers locked the doors of the vehicles to protect themselves, the criminals broke the windows to gain access to the interior of the car.

According to the preliminary investigation, 17 robberies and 11 thefts have been revealed so far in the area of ​​this settlement. Taxi drivers, cars, two-wheelers, trucks, cyclists, bus passengers and pedestrians were attacked.

It is noted that the arrested and two of his identified accomplices in the past have already been involved by the authorities for similar crimes. The detainee was taken to the competent prosecutor’s office, while the investigation to fully verify his actions continues.
