Three cars were burned shortly before midnight on Thursday. The cars were parked in an open area at the intersection of Zoodochos Pigi and Andreas Metaxas streets in Exarchia.
Nine fire brigades with three fire trucks were at the scene of the fire.

The fire department arrived at the scene and determined that it was arson. The police cordoned off the area and carried out investigative actions.
According to police sources, this was probably the work of local anarchists, as evidenced by their favorite method of arson – Molotov cocktail bottles. However, they do not exclude the version with hooligans, as it was several years ago, when unknown people regularly set fire to cars in various areas of the capital of Greece.
The latest version is also supported by the fact that not a single radical group has claimed responsibility for what happened.
