The 22-year-old thief wanted to live the life he dreamed of, but on … other people’s money.
In particular, a young man from Albania entered the house of a woman, a resident of Oropos, through a balcony door, after learning that there were several thousand euros inside. The man found a bag of money containing a total of 35,000 euros. Having taken possession of “easy prey” and in order not to arouse suspicion, he went to the nearest forest and buried the bag under building materials.
For the amount that he left for himself, about 12,000 euros, he bought “all sorts of nice little things.” In particular, he bought a car for 7000 euros and other things, gambled a little and deposited 2000 euros into his bank account!
However, he did not have time to continue to “enjoy life” because the police, having identified the thief from the footage from surveillance cameras, tracked down and arrested him. The perpetrator was forced to show them where he hid the stolen money.
