New criminal cases against five OSE officials

However, as follows from the conclusion of the expert commission, which was made public in April and the response of the OSE to its request, the age limit at that time had long been Was installed, as a requirement for filling the position, and the new internal regulations were not in force at the time when the expert commission was considering the application of the 59-year-old employee.

It is noteworthy that the Minister of Transport Kostas Karamanlis, who hastily filed resignationafter the disaster, not only escaped prosecution, but was elected as an MP for New Democracy in the May 21 elections.
