Tragedy in Piraeus: a man jumped from a height of 20 meters

The tragedy occurred around 9 am in Piraeus, when a man committed suicide by jumping from a height of 20 meters in the Mikrolimano area.

An unidentified person arrived in this area by taxi and, leaving it, told the taxi driver to “wait a bit.” He went to the edge of the place shown in the photo, which is at the corner of Mikrolimanos, and jumped off the cliff.

The fire brigade, police and an ambulance rushed to the scene to certify his death. According to reports, he was a foreigner, about 40 years old, who, under unclear circumstances, fell from a height of about 20 meters, resulting in fatal injuries.
