Law enforcement agencies in Greece announced the arrest of a 29-year-old criminal who carried out burglaries, penetrating the homes and shops of Messinia.
The police after a methodical investigation went on the trail of a burglar. It was established that, together with his accomplices, between 4.10.2022 and 19.5.2023, he committed 15 thefts in residential buildings and shops in the municipality of Pylos Nestoros and Koronis (Messinia).
According to ΕΛΑΣ, attackers, among other things, stole money and gold jewelry, also coveting expensive electronic devices. The total value of the stolen goods, according to the victims, exceeds the amount of 53,000 euros.
The car of a 29-year-old man was confiscated as a means of committing criminal acts. The detainee was brought before the District Attorney of Kalamata. The police investigation is ongoing. Authorities are investigating the possible involvement of the accused in similar crimes. Also wanted is his accomplice.
