In Odessa, a woman with a child in her arms fell from the 16th floor. The investigation showed that this is a Russian woman illegally staying in Ukraine.
The bodies of a 34-year-old woman and a 2-year-old girl were discovered by local residents on April 29, at about 8 pm, near a high-rise building on French Boulevard. According to preliminary information, the townswoman, along with her daughter, fell from the balcony of a rented apartment located on the 16th floor of a residential building. Details of the tragedy have emerged today.
According to the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odessa region, the woman lived with a child and a man who was at work when the tragedy occurred. The spouses did not fall into the field of view of the police. The family was also not registered with the Children’s Service.
The woman turned out to be a citizen of the Russian Federation, reported publication “Country” law enforcement sources. The Russian woman was in Ukraine illegally. The case has already been reclassified as a suicide. According to the police:
“Russian citizen Moroz, born in 1989, together with her daughter Skorokhodova, born in 2021, committed suicide by jumping out of the window of an apartment on the 16th floor of a residential building. The motives for the deed are being investigated.”
