A violent fight took place late Tuesday evening at a shopping center in Thessaloniki. According to the information, everything happened at 20:20, in front of dozens of frightened citizens, when a group of seven young people started a fight with a man who was in a medical supply store in the Πλατεία shopping center.
During the fight, the young men did not hesitate to take chairs from the cafeteria and throw them at the man. The policeman, who tried to calm the hooligans, also got a chair.

It is alleged that the man left the store with a knife he threatened, but did not use to attack young people. Patrol copswho were in the mall area intervened to end the fight. At the same time, one of them was slightly injured and was later taken to the 424th military hospital of Thessaloniki.
It all started when a group of seven people entered the mall from N. Heraklio Street. Of them five men, wearing motorcycle helmets and holding chairs, approached and beat a man who was in a medical supply store. Local media have linked the fight to ultra sports fans.
