Under the sounds of folk music, with a great mood at the tables richly laid with Easter treats, more than 5,000 citizens celebrated Easter in the Antonis Tritsis park in the capital.
The festive event, organized by the region of Attica on the initiative of the Governor G. Patulis, has become an annual event. Both in 2022 and this year, thousands of our fellow citizens who remained in Attica got the opportunity to celebrate Easter not alone, at home, but “among the people.” The event was organized by the authorities of Attica, the Metropolitan Park Agency “Antonis Tritsis”, with the participation of the municipalities of Ilion and Ag. Anargiron, Kamatero. The municipalities of Peristeri, Haidari, Ag also contributed. Barbara, Petrupoli and Egaleo.

The regional governor of Attica, who was present in Metropolitan Park since early morning, had the opportunity to offer congratulations and wish all the best to all citizens. G. Patulis warmly thanked everyone who contributed to the successful organization of the Easter celebration, expressed special gratitude to the group of volunteers for their contribution.
Folk festivities “left no one aside”: surprises were organized for visitors of all ages, incendiary music played, a folk dance ensemble performed.
