Despite the actions of the Ministry of Development, the introduced “family basket” measure and the upcoming “Easter basket”, consumers are facing a new increase in prices for consumer goods, especially food.
The aforementioned intention of suppliers will lead to an increase in food prices on supermarket shelves starting from Monday. At the same time, the Association of Consumer Market Workers will present the following indicative figures:
- Feta from 12.5 euros per kilogram rises to 13.2 euros.
- Detergent, washing powder (45 doses) from 11.9 euros to 13.8 euros.
- Baby diapers (44 pieces) from 15.4 euros to 17 euros.
Consumers are looking for items at the lowest prices, with one in four choosing to buy items from their home basket over equivalent items outside of the “help measure,” the channel reports. open.
