Having won clear sympathy with their impressive stand and making their presence known through a series of contacts and exposure to major international media, the Greek delegation, organized by the Greek Investment and Foreign Trade Company (Enterprise Greece), returned from the largest real estate exhibition MIPIM, which took place in Cannes from 14 to March 17, 2023.
International exhibition under the motto “The best places. Greater influence. Stronger business” (“Better places. Greater impact. Stronger business”) again this year provided participating companies with the opportunity to access a large number of development projects and has established itself as an excellent networking platform for reaching agreements.
The 32nd MIPIM welcomed over 23,000 visitors to the international real estate industry from 90 countries.
Demonstrating its support for the domestic industry, Enterprise Greece once again organized a national pavilion at the 32nd MIPIM with the participation of 11 important companies and agencies for the development and operation of real estate, including a delegation from the Municipality of Athens.

Promoting the Greek real estate market at MIPIM and the companies participating in the national pavilion, Enterprise Greece CEO Mr. Marinos Yiannopoulos gave a series of interviews to some of the biggest international media outlets covering the show. Among other things, he mentioned the geostrategic position of the country and the fact that in all respects, our country is among the best tourist destinations in the world.
CEO of Enterprise Greece: “Greece is emerging as one of the leading destinations for property investors in Europe with record inflows from abroad. Foreign businessmen show great interest in investments in the hotel sector, as well as in industrial, residential and commercial real estate, including through the proposed progressive development programs. Let me remind you that a special law on accelerated licensing for strategic investments. And besides there are special tax and other benefitsproposed under the National Development Act.”
Mr. Yiannopoulos also invited potential investors to explore Enterprise Greece’s portfolio of investment projects, including attractive (and highly profitable in the future) investments in undeveloped areas of Greece.
In the context of MIPIM2023, “Enterprise Greece” has taken a number of actions to promote and popularize the national pavilion, such as organizing a high-level round table (Round Table Breakfast) with the support of Deloitte, which brought together important companies in the real estate sector.
A networking event was also organized, through which exhibitors, Greek exhibitors, had the opportunity to develop partnerships, learn about industry trends, benefit from new ideas and meet influential companies from other countries.
In addition, with the support of PropertyEU, a discussion was held in which investors from Greece and abroad took part, who spoke about the investment opportunities presented by our country.
