Truck crane "didn’t fit" at the gates of the hospital in Chania (video)

In Crete, a truck crane destroyed the canopy at the gate of the Chania hospital. A large-scale operation was carried out to extract the vehicle.

“He did not have permission to enter,” says the manager of the General Hospital of Chania (Γ.Ν. Χανίων) Giorgos Beas and says:

“While I was in my office, I was told to go down to the main gate of the Chania hospital, because the contractor on the crane machine, who was doing work for ΔΕΔΔΗΕ, for a private network, and not for the hospital, entered the territory without the permission and approval of the hospital , while demolishing the canopy of the central gate. I ordered that the restoration of the canopy be carried out at any cost immediately. “

A crane “knocked down” part of the gate of Chania General Hospital in Crete on Tuesday March 21, shortly after 3:00 pm, writes newsbeast.gr. A major operation was carried out to remove it.

The contractor’s vehicle was doing work for ΔΕΔΔΗΕ on a private network. The main entrance to the hospital remained closed, and the entry and exit of cars was carried out through the southern gate. At the same time, another entrance was opened at a close distance from the main gate.

There were no casualties. A crane was called to the scene of the incident to lift the canopy and move it to another place where it would not pose a danger.
