In Thessaloniki, a 43-year-old attacker stole a wallet and mobile phone from an unsuspecting victim and made 9 contactless transactions with his debit cards.
The policeman noticed the pickpocket and arrested him. The theft occurred on March 8 in Evosmos, when a man took possession of a citizen’s personal property and made purchases with cards that he found in a purse.
As noted in the report ΕΛΑΣthe movements of the criminal were followed by a police officer (part of the Ομάδα ΔΙΑΣ), who informed the Emergency Response Service, after which the arrest of the man followed, despite the strong resistance that he showed to the peace officers.
