A sock… with a pound of heroin

The fussy movement of the driver, when the police signaled him to stop for a check on the road, did not go unnoticed by law enforcement officers.

Police officers OPKEwho were on duty in the Viotia area signaled a passing driver to “stop”. However, before driving up, the man opened the window and threw out… a black sock. This has not gone unnoticed. And when the police found an object on the side of the road that the driver wanted to get rid of, they saw a sock. It contained a bar of heroin weighing 482.42 grams, so the Greek driver was handcuffed.

During a subsequent interrogation and search of the perpetrator’s residence in the Itea district of Fokida, a 14.12-gram package of heroin in the form of a bar was seized, as well as an electronic scale. In addition to the total amount of heroin weighing 535.94 grams, a car was confiscated from the criminal. A criminal case has been initiated against a citizen for possession, transportation and trafficking in drugs. The detainee was taken to the prosecutor’s office of Livadia.
