The German newspaper “Bild” reports that Germany, the United States and France are putting pressure on the leadership of Ukraine, demanding quick results on the battlefield.
Western military support for Kiev is reportedly accompanied by demands for quick battlefield victories, as the conflict between Ukraine and Russia did not reveal either side as sovereign but instead turned into a bloody war of attrition.
The word that electrifies everyone: “Peace talks!”.
According to a German newspaper Bild Citing German, French and American sources, the West is demanding that Zelensky make significant progress on the battlefield by this fall or he will have to sit down at the negotiating table with Russia.
In a fairly hysterical editorial, @BILD reveals:
The US and Germany have told Zelensky—if there isn’t battlefield success in Ukraine by the fall, he should sue for peace.
The Germans might think this. But it could be the US playing the Germans—again.https://t.co/tMPvf543mu

“With the help of new weapons, they want to give Ukraine the opportunity to win back more occupied territories. If the counterattacks fail, the pressure on Kiev to negotiate with the Kremlin will increase,” the German newspaper writes in this regard, noting that while the West verbally declares that will support Ukraine for as long as it takes, “behind the scenes” there is already talk of an “ultimatum”.
