Fox stuck in picket fence

The “adventure” of an adult female fox, stuck between the metal bars of the garden fence of one of the private houses in Thracomedonia, ended happily.

As reported by the Association for the Protection and Care of Wildlife (Σύλλογος Προστασίας και Περίθαλψης Άγριας Ζωής, ANIMA) in the relevant Facebook postthe fox, fortunately, was safely rescued from the “trap” by the Association employee Ilias Nicolau and nothing threatens her life anymore.

The operation report says: “Some time ago, an adult female fox was rescued in Thrakomacedonas. The animal got stuck between the metal bars of the picket fence, and after it was released, it immediately ran away. Fortunately, citizens are now much more attentive and inform us about similar cases that occur in urban environments with wildlife. Therefore, we often have time to help, and everything ends well.”
