Lawyer’s verdict on the death of three girls

“The forensic reports, conducted by eight leading experts who have carefully examined the death of children, say that it was due to pathological causes,” said Alexis Kougias, lawyer for Rula Pispirigo, the mother of the girls who died under mysterious circumstances, who remains in custody and accused of killing their young daughters.

The mother of three girls, Rula Pispirigou, testified in court for the first time this summer. There was a case in which, according to the judiciary, months before 9-year-old Georgina received a lethal dose of ketamine given to her by her mother, the first attempt was made to kill the first-born daughtera. The mother, suspected of killing a child, appeared in the Evelpidon court to present her version of what happened to investigator Kristina Salapa, reports cathimerini.gr.

“The parents of the children sued the Patras doctors for the death of one child, and the investigation ruled out a medical error, attributing all the deaths to pathological causes,” the forensic scientist said. Today, Rula Pispirigou is testifying to the Athenian staff investigator Eugenia Tzortzat about the death of her two youngest children, Malena and Iris.

Alexis Kougias claims in the case “great mistakes were made”. Since those who issued medical reports on the death of children do not have pathological knowledge. Persons are not experts in the full sense of the word, but they give a forensic medical opinion! And the doctor gave a conclusion based on the photographs even without examining the bodies.”

The human rights activist claims that he is sure of the innocence of Rula Pispirigou. Mr. Kougias, speaking on the program “Kalimera Greece”, noted that “8 ordinary forensic experts have already testified against unscrupulous colleagues who gave “negligent” conclusion about the death of girls. Three more will testify. More competent persons, leading forensic experts in their field, argue that the death of children came from pathological causes and justify exactly how this happened.

Recall that in the family of Pispirigo there was the death of three minor daughters who passed away one after another. At some point, it began to seem strange that such a thing could happen unintentionally. And experts undertook to investigate strange cases of death.

accusation in the second felony against a 33-year-old woman brought by the prosecutor of first instance, Georgios Nulis, and based on evidence from the dossier, which is in the hands of the judge, about Georgina’s wanderings from hospital to hospital until, in January 2022, she died from a toxic substance allegedly given to her by her mother.

Attempted murder in which the mother is accused regarding what happened at the Caramandanio hospital in Patras in April 2021. According to the indictment, mother’s first attempt to poison her daughter caused irreversible damage to the child’s health. And in the end, after a while, Georgina died, once again going to the hospital. For her part, her mother, Rula Pispirigo, denies all the accusations against her, arguing that she was not involved in the death of a child in a hospital ward.

The lawsuit looked at the time period since April 8, 2021, when Georgina was admitted to Caramandanio Hospital. According to the authorities, the parents of the child allegedly had an appointment with lawyers that day in order to formalize the divorce. Just 18 days before, the youngest girl of the Daskalaki-Pipirigo family, 6-month-old Irida, died. And in 2019, Georgina also lost her 3.5-year-old sister Malena.

The little girl was reportedly admitted to the hospital on the date indicated, and the mother told the doctors that Georgina was having convulsions. The tests performed on the child did not confirm the pathological condition. However, on April 11, 2021, the child suffered cardiac and respiratory arrest, which the mother reported to the doctors in a manner, as indicated in the case file, very calm, given the gravity of the situation.. The incident was resolved when a nurse saw Georgina’s bruises and alerted the doctors. Doctors brought the child back to life after 50 minutes, but the girl developed hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and, as a result, paralysis of the lower extremities.

The case of Rula Pispirigou is being investigated to determine whether she was involved in the death of all her children, three daughters.
