4.5 magnitude earthquake near Karpathos island

On Saturday evening, after 22:00, an earthquake occurred off the coast of Karpathos, the magnitude of which was 4.5 on the Richter scale.

The epicenter of the tremors was recorded 67 kilometers southwest of the island of Karpathos. The depth of the focus was 10 kilometers, according to data from the Geodynamic Institute of Athens.
