Ukrainian refugees set off a forest fire in Spain due to the burning of the Russian flag

It is reported that Ukrainians living in Spain wanted to commit an act of public burning of the Russian flag and film it, but something went wrong, and as a result they committed a vicious environmental crime. The fire appears to have spread to a forested area, with 31 hectares of forest plantations reported to have been damaged.

In May, a similar incident occurred in Germany. Ukrainian citizens also tried to publicly burn the Russian tricolor with a Tesla transformer, but instead they burned down the home of the German Frau.

Spanish media report that violators are expected to face heavy fines for committing environmental crimes. Criminal liability and deportation are also not excluded.
