Viktor Medvedchuk’s property arrested, details of his detention revealed

By a court decision, 154 objects of movable and immovable property of People’s Deputy Viktor Medvedchuk arrested earlier by the Security Service of Ukraine were arrested.

The list of people’s deputy from the Opposition Platform – For Life party acquired by the family and seized property, presented by the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation: 23 houses, 32 apartments, 30 land plots, 26 cars, 17 parking spaces and a yacht. The decision to seize the property was made by the Lychakovsky District Court of the city of Lviv.

Shares in charter capitals in 25 companies, the beneficial owner of which is Viktor Medvedchuk or his wife, were also arrested. Oksana Marchenkothe publication reported “The country”.

Previously edition said that arrested on April 12 Medvedchuk, dressed in a military uniform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, intended to secretly move to Transnistria, and then to Russia, but the plan was thwarted by the Ukrainian special services. Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Ivan Bakanov said:

“It was indeed a difficult and dangerous operation for many of its participants, which lasted about a month in military conditions. The President gave an instruction, and we activated all the possibilities to fulfill this instruction and find Medvedchuk. A lot of analytical and operational work was carried out, which was successfully completed. The Russian special services organized their own operation to transfer Medvedchuk to Transnistria and then to Moscow, even representatives of the underworld and corrupt law enforcement officers were involved in its implementation. , where an evacuation group of special forces was already waiting for him. They were supposed to deliver Medvedchuk to Moscow. But thanks to the SBU, this plan could not be implemented. He was accompanied by Ukrainian law enforcement officers, who will also be responsible for their actions. Now Medvedchuk is awaiting trial, choosing a measure of restraint , or rather its confirmation – detention. And then, I hope, a well-deserved punishment.”
