The new supplementary notes provide for the following:
All civil aircraft are prohibited from entering the airspace (FIR) of Moldova and Belarus due to the high risk of ongoing military activity in the wider region. According to the State Aviation Administration, the ban on flights using FIR over the border areas of Ukraine and Russia is valid from February 24 to May 24, 2022.
In its Conflict Zone Information Bulletin (CZIB) regarding Ukraine, EASA notes that the area is currently a zone of active conflict.
