A 21-year-old young man was arrested in a coordinated police operation in Aspropyrgos, accused of a particularly brutal robbery against an elderly woman on February 13, 2022. The accused are also a 39-year-old woman and a still unknown perpetrator.
According to ELAS, the three defendants, who were traveling in a car belonging to a 21-year-old man, went to the house of an elderly resident of Egaleo. The 39-year-old attacker, pretending to want water, convinced the unfortunate woman to open the door of the apartment and entered the house, the publication reports. in.gr. He was followed by a 21-year-old, now arrested. The robbers severely beat an 80-year-old woman, tore her ears to take her earrings.
Course of events
The nightmarish incident took place at noon on February 13th. Having entered the victim’s house, the 21-year-old offender, using physical violence and threatening with a knife, showing extreme cruelty, immobilized the 80-year-old and demanded to give the money. The perpetrators then fled the scene by getting into a car. The arrested person will be brought before the competent prosecutor.
