The perpetrator of the bloody robbery that took place early Saturday morning in a shop on Gr. Lambraki in Tumpa, Thessaloniki.
According to law enforcement agencies, the offender was detained this morning, November 8, at his home. His accomplice was arrested the day before, last night. According to the information, the criminal is a 27-year-old citizen of Albania. His accomplice is a 35-year-old Greek.
An unidentified man with disguised facial features entered a convenience store on Saturday, according to a police investigation, where, threatening an employee with a firearm, took an unknown amount of money.
The 44-year-old store employee allegedly began to resist, and as a result, the perpetrator hit him on the head with the handle of the weapon. The victim was taken to the city hospital, where he was initially diagnosed with a head injury. Despite the efforts of the doctors, the man died. After the autopsy, forensic experts will establish the reason for the death of 44-year-old Mario.
A special team from the Northern Greece Criminological Investigation Directorate is carefully investigating the crime scene where a cartridge from a 9mm firearm was found.
