In Greece, 30-year-olds continue to die from covid

In Larisa and Trikala, two 30-year-olds were killed. According to unconfirmed reports, the 32-year-old man was vaccinated.

Just two days after the death of 29-year-old Pavlos Papayannis in Trikala, two more young people have died of coronavirus in Thessaly. According to Trikalavoice.gr, a 34-year-old woman from Trikala died in hospital from covid on Monday morning, October 18. The young woman was taken to hospital with severe symptoms of the disease and, despite the efforts of doctors, passed away.

At the same time, Larisa is shocked by the death of a 32-year-old young man from Karditsa. The man was taken to hospital in serious condition a few days ago, but lost the fight against the virus. According to the ERT, his father is also being treated for coronavirus.

The death of two young men has caused serious concern. There is still no information on whether they were vaccinated against Covid-19. Last week, as “Russian Athens” wrote, three more unvaccinated young people died.

This was reported by Deputy Minister of Health Mina Gaga, in connection with the death of a 28-year-old resident of Komotini. She reached out to all unvaccinated young people on Facebook to get vaccinated:

“Some time ago, we lost a 28-year-old boy from the coronavirus in Komotini. This is the third guy in his twenties that we lost this week. All of them were not vaccinated. Please, get vaccinated and be careful! I understand that many are afraid and have questions. Contact us, doctors and the ministry, we will answer your questions and discuss your concerns. I will soon provide an exclusive phone line and digital communication with us, we are here for you. “
