The man who received two bullets yesterday on the Kaliftaki bridge was identified by the police as a 34-year-old criminal from Albania.
He is currently in critical condition at the Gennimatas hospital. During the police investigation, it was established that this is a criminal with a “rich” criminal past, which the Greek law enforcement officers have faced more than once.
The shooting incident occurred on Sunday on the Ethniki-Lamia road, on the Kaliftaki bridge. In the morning, a message was received to the Greek police about a bloody man who was on the emergency lane of the New National Road, at the height of Kifissia. The video shows the moment when the person who received the bullet wounds is given first aid. The police are also looking in the pockets of his clothes for a document that would identify the victim.
The investigation and search for criminals who injured the victim in the chest and legs are ongoing.
