Arthritis? You need a special diet and manual therapy

In Russia alone, about 800 thousand people suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. To alleviate the condition, relieve painful manifestations, the correct diet and manual influence of an experienced specialist help.

About half of those suffering from arthritis “acquired” this disease after suffering a sore throat or a common cold. Its causative agent is a staphylococcal infection that lives in the nasopharynx. Approximately 10-15 days after a sore throat, the first signs of joint damage appear – they become painful and swollen, problems with walking arise, weakness develops, and the temperature rises.

In the midst of an attack of rheumatoid arthritis, even a light touch of an inflamed area causes suffering. The pain can be localized in one area or “wander” around the joints. An unpleasant feeling of muscle aches often occurs. But arthritis affects not only the joints – the kidneys, liver, skin, heart are targeted.

How to avoid an insidious ailment? To begin with, one should not ignore a sore throat or a cold, relying only on traditional methods of treatment, and consult a doctor in a timely manner, who will prescribe antibacterial agents. The list of preventive measures includes proper varied nutrition, minimizing the use of fatty and fried foods, and a healthy lifestyle.

If the diagnosis of arthritis has already been announced by the doctor, you need to follow all the doctor’s recommendations, adhere to the correct diet, and additionally use such effective treatments as manual therapy, acupuncture, mud therapy.

There are foods that can prevent or delay joint destruction and reduce cartilage inflammation. Nutritionists recommend including lemons and oranges, pineapples and pomegranate juice, mackerel and salmon, herring, and green tea in your diet. Of the seasonings, cloves, turmeric, and ginger are useful. But lard, corn oil, fatty meat should be excluded.

Manual joint therapy is a manual active and passive effect on the feet, legs, shoulders, knees, elbows, hands and fingers. It works great both for the prevention and for the improvement of the condition of patients diagnosed with arthritis. A complex of minimally invasive manual therapy techniques helps to influence the osteo-ligamentous apparatus, muscles and joints, and internal organs of a person. Manual therapy of joints is indicated for arthrosis, arthritis, arthralgia, osteoporosis and other diseases.
