Judges of the Council of State (Greece’s Supreme Administrative Court) have rejected a case brought by a group of firefighters who oppose mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations.
The plenary meeting of the State Council rejected, for reasons of public interest, a statement by firefighters working in special forces for natural disaster management (EMAK) to suspend the order of the fire chief for vaccination against Covid-19.
The court stated that the mandatory vaccination of EMAK employees is vital to “ensure the uninterrupted operation of special units of the fire department responsible for eliminating the consequences of natural disasters.”
