A 14-year-old teenager was injured Sunday afternoon in the Balos-Kissamos sea area in Chania, due to dangerous maneuvers by a 42-year-old jet ski driver.
The Port Authority of Kissamos was informed of the incident and the boat with the Coast Guard officer immediately headed to the area where the accident occurred.
According to Cretalive, the teenager was taken by private car to the Kissamos medical center, where doctors diagnosed injuries to his left shoulder and arm, as well as bruises.
The port station of Kissamos of the Chania Central Port Authority, which is conducting a preliminary investigation, arrested the owner of the jet ski as well as the helmsman, imposing appropriate administrative sanctions on both.
